Special Olympics

   A few days ago I attended the Special Needs Olympics. The Special Needs Olympics was a very interesting experience. It was an interesting experience that gave me mixed emotions. I felt like a really blessed person while I watched people with a disability see life in a positive way.

          
     I saw a lot of great things at the Special Needs Olympics. I saw some very nice helpers called ADT's. ADT's are the people who helped the participants play games and helped the participants feel good about playing the games. That made me feel blessed because the ADT's were volunteering to help people on their spring break. The ADT's attended the highschool were the Olympics

               
     I got to see the cool games that the Special Needs Olympics had to offer. The participants went from looking frightened like a baby deer caught in headlights, to looking like a person whose dreams came true. That made me feel happy to see the participants enjoy what they were doing. I also got to see my cousin Jalen faced his second biggest fear, wheel chairs. He had to face his fear or he wouldn’t have been able to play the fun games that the ADT's had. Jalen sucked it up and played basically defeating his fear for a brief moment. That made me feel really good for him and made me feel blessed because of his courage.

    Jordan, my friend, and I walked around so we could see all of the participants/ADT's show there stuff. Once you got into the core of the arena there was an ocean of wheel chairs. During my walk around one of the participants chased Jordan and I. That participant also pushed my mom. At that moment I felt like we had to go as soon as Jalen got his reward for doing very well. I didn’t want to leave because of the kid chasing Jordan and I. I wanted to leave because I didn’t want Grier (my little sister) to get run over.

              After seeing people who can barely move look so delightful I thought something new. The new thing that I thought was that I need to stay positive because if people who have disabilities can stay positive I need to stay positive when things are going tough for me.

                                                            Success Essay

            Success is a powerful word. Success these days usually refers to the accomplishments of famous people. I feel that everyone can succeed. Success isn’t just people knowing your name because you did something good. Becoming successful is completing something to the best of your ability.

           Part of success is failing which happens to the best of us. I have failed before just as I am sure you have to. Since I am an actor I perform in plays etc. I believe I have failed when I did not put forth my best effort.  I feel that when I fail I did not do my best. Even if people compliment me on what I believe is a failed performance. When I fail I feel the regret of failing. I also feel knowledge for a step closer to success.

          You accomplish something in order to be successful in my opinion. You don’t even have to accomplish something big, the only thing you need to do is  accomplish something. Although success feels a lot better than failing,  success takes more work. When I feel like I have done my absolute best I feel successful. Success requires hard work and perseverance. In most of my plays etc. I perform to the best of my ability. In my most recent play (The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe) People followed me out of the theatre to congratulate me on my performance. That was success not only because I was congratulated but because I thought that I did my best. In a nutshell I think success is feeling that you did good.

          Hey, I'm back after a very long break sorry. I'm a busy man I got to do what I got to do. The story I am about to tell you is a true story that happened last weekend on Fathers day. It all started when my grandpa came up to me and said "I can do more pushups than you". I looked at him like he was Frankenstein but on drugs and said "Pops if you think you can do more pushups than me then lets do some pushups right now." He said, "I want to see how many you can do."

            So I did 36 pushups real fast because I didn't think my grandpa would be able to do that many pushups. So as soon as I stop everybody was all like " You could've done more." and "50 are challenge worthy". I got so hyped up because of them criticizing my push up capabilities. I basically told them I could do 50 now after the matter of me completing 36.

                     They all thought that I couldn't complete the 50 after completing 36 so they all put $5 on that I couldn't complete the pushups. I walked out of there with $25 dollars. Everybody thought I couldn't do it but I did. So I proved that I am the pushup champion (compared to my grandpa -.- =.= -.-'). But I think doing 86 pushups in one day is impressive.

                          I have spent $9 and I think I want to save the rest for my bday (July6).

My Feedback on Assassins creed 3

I'd hate be a British soldier while this guy is around.

Hello, In this post I will talk about the new game, Assassins Creed 3 and what I like about it.I will also talk about what I don't like about it. I will also talk about my ideas for future games and so on and so forth.         Just incase you don’t know about Assassins Creed I will give you some background. There has been a war going on since The times of Adam and Eve. The war is between Assassin’s and Templar’s.  The Assassin’s are mad at the Templar’s for misusing their power and only looking at things black and white. The Templar’s are mad at the Assassin’s for criticizing their way of thinking. The war is still going on today and it is up to Desmond Miles to make an end to it. Desmond is a modern day assassins in training. He has Ancestors that were some of if not the best Assassin’s ever. Desmond has to go into this thing called the Animus in order to learn his ancestor’s moves. Once he finishes looking at all of his Ancestors moves he will become the ultimate Assassin and end the war once and for all.            The new game is set in the Revolutionary war. The new character (or the new ancestor) (Conner) is half Mohawk and half British. When he was young the British destroyed his village. After hat Conner trained to become an assassin. He is not on the colonists or the British side but as you can see by this picture he will lean toward being on the colonists. The British are the Templar’s in this game so that is probably why the cover looks the way it does. The weapons Conner that have are the tomahawk axe, knife, flintlock pistol, bow and arrow, and of course a hidden blade.       I like the storyline for the new character and the weapons the new character has. I don’t like the easy way out that the game creators took. By easy way out I mean making the enemy of course British in the American revolution. I also don’t like the way they making it seem like the British are all bad and the colonists are all good because in real life all cultures have faults and strengths.      All right now it is time for me to say my future thoughts about this franchise. Since the creators have made all of the Assassin’s (Besides Desmond) of color so far I think the next Assassin will be a African American in the civil war time frame. I also think after that the creators will keep traveling in history until they reach modern days were we will see a new and improved Desmond who will have acquired all of his ancestor strengths. After That Desmond will have become the ultimate Assassin and right before he is finished taking down the last of the Templar a new enemy will emerge. The new enemy will be the ultimate Templar who used the Animus to get all of his ancestor’s strengths. Why do I like Batman Now?

Nightwing is the best!!!!!!!

        Hey, this post is about how I went from liking one batman character (Nightwing) to liking them all. This post isn't just about Batman. This is a lesson that proves the phrase "Don't knock it till you try it ". I will continue to say this throughout this post. I will because this is not about Batman characters. This is a base to show you  "Don't knock it till you try it ".

     

         Before I begin on how I began to like the bat family I must tell you how I felt about my favorite in the family Nightwing. I think everyone who was born in my generation loved Teen Titans the TV show. Since I was born loving this show I looked him up and found out that was preteen and teen Nightwing. Since I already had that base of love for a character I thought to myself maybe I might like other Batman characters.

       

         I already had a very negative thought of the other Batman characters. I thought they were lame and boring. I thought to myself "Don't knock it till you try it " and went to researching about the characters in my spare time.

          I began to like Batman characters so then I thought to myself "Don't knock it till you try it". I just unknowingly made a new side of my character. Now I will try most things. Except for things I know will kill me in the long run. We all know what those things are so lets not even say that negative stuff on my blog.

SubWay Complementary Cups

                                    Hello, Yesterday when my family and I went to a Sub Way out in the suburbs and had a adventure. Before I start to tell you this  story I must tell you the atmosphere of this Sub Way. This Sub Way greets you as you come in and smiles in your face. The first two people who make your sandwich for you are nice. Then you bump into this ignorant teenager who looks like she drinks root beer whenever shes off duty.If she does take showers she forgets to use soap.

     When it was time to pay we asked for complementary cups for water we got extremely small cups of water. They also had Seattle's Best on them. Seriously these cups were smaller than shot glasses.So it seems as if the Sub Way stole cups and wants us to drink unhealthy sodas instead of water. So since we are smart people we got more cups and left. The last lady was acting like "I work here don't do that".

                          My family has learned 3 valuable lessons through this experience. Don't go to that specific Sub Way. Always bring water bottles and don't rely on others all the time because you never know when they might slip up.
